Day Care for adventurers!

Updated: May 12

At All Paws we offer 'day care' with a difference. Instead of an enclosed facility, your dog will spend the day with an All Paws team member accompanying them on their regular scheduled walks for the day adventuring around the Kent countryside.

Our Day Care is something different to the traditional facilities, where dogs have the opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors and socialise with other dogs in an open environment.

Dogs under our care are in not in an enclosed facility, something that is not suitable for all dogs and can result in boredom, stress and tense relationships with other dogs- sometimes resulting in scuffles and aggression.

How does it work?

We offer a range of different length Day Care services to suit your needs.

We will pick up your dog and take them with us on our day of walking appointments with other friendly dogs in the outdoors. At the end of their day, we also drop them home again!

The daycare period consists of approximately 1 hour walks separated by 30 minute downtime or travel to the next spot. So you are left happy that your dog enjoys a day of walks out and about in the wide-open countryside, as well as socialising in a relaxed, low stress and less restricted way.

We have found this type of Day Care to be much more suitable to a wider range of dogs and often less stressful for them.

What are the benefits?

• Socialising with groups of friendly dogs, at their own pace, with a maximum of 6 dogs on Day Care at any time.

• Less stress, wide-open spaces and smaller number of dogs provides a

much less stressful environment. Some dogs find with 'traditional' Day Care that they are restricted in the same, enclosed space, which can cause stress, behavioural problems and in some cases aggression towards other dogs.

• Reinforced training, your dog is walking in the big wide world, this take on day care will help them to reinforce recall and impulse training and help to become more well-rounded as they will get more accustomed to what they will encounter on normal day to day walks in the public.

•Down Time too! Our day is planned into hourly walks with 30 minute

breaks in between. So your dog has great fun on walks but also time to unwind and relax between walks.

•Great option if you are out for longer periods. You dog will never be left alone for long periods with multiple options of lengths to suit the times you are out of the house, your dog can be with us having fun and exercising whilst you are out for the day.
